I’ve gone too deep, the real name looked wrong to me

A name sure to strike fear in the hearts of mankind, as the Dark Mechanical Lord Copplebronch Plondersnicket smites those who would stand against them.
… how exactly does one plonder a snicket, anyways?
It seems like it ought to be some kind of amalgam of plunder and ponder or something of the sort.
Apparently a plond is ‘too big to be a pond, yet not big enough to be a lake’ according to some sketchy sort on the internet whose accuracy and veracity are immesurably small.
thats like saying dont look down when you are climbing to a high height. And now I need bleach for my eyeballs/brain
The thing you say, when a big polish man with hair that looks like the barcode on the back of your milk, begins spitting vodka droplets on your face when telling you about this squirrel he ran over.
Oh yeah he might’ve stole your kidney. “Oi Plonder get a better hair cut you vodka drinking, squirrel killing, rat strangling, kidney stealing. Plonder!” –urban dictionary

I resent the statement!
The Plondersnicket line will not be sullied by such slander

I assume your kids had been involved in the name finding? Awesome choice 😀
“Okay, follow me here. Can you imagine crowds of people yelling, ‘Look out! Here comes Copplebronch Plondersnicket!’?”

What would be absolutely wild, is if Friday’s comic was suddenly something like The Campaign, meaning that for however long we’d all just have to DEAL with them naming themself Copplebronch.

Didn’t Anklespankin use that as one of his aliases? Sounds like something he would say.
Is he a human, though? I mean, sure, he has a face but we can never know for sure.

When you google that the ONLY result that comes up is this page. I’ve never seen ONE RESPONSE from Google (it usually has a bunch of ads first). Well done Tim!

I like it. They picked a name that has a ring to it.

This makes me think of the names Scott Sigler used for the Prawatt in the GLF series.
i hope that identity/gender-part of the story is finished soon. It makes me think of all the toxic politics going on currently and that does not mix well with the reasons i normally read this strip (relaxing, having fun)
This is a story arc about an artificial intelligence figuring out for itself something that most of us take for granted, and if you can’t separate that from politics, that sounds like a you problem. So you can hope the story ends soon all you want, but it will end when I’ve told the story I set out to tell, and not one page sooner.

Sounds like a name for one of Count Olaf’s disguises.
Or they lied and used a fantasy name generator. No-one will be the wiser.
And people said my knowledge of the page with hundreds of different name generators wouldn’t come in handy…. HA! I say to they/them.
Knowledge is meant to be shared, young one, so, please, elucidate me, I’m begging you.

Didn’t he play Sherlock?
CAnd Doctor Strange too, he’s a good actor that Copperpoodle Bandersnitch
Biscotti Cruciferous is a talented actor indeed.

we have a Benedict Cumberbatch situation on our hands
My first thought, NGL
Came here to say that 😀

Left to right
Slowly, but vigorously, with both hands.
No-one ever tried to plonder a snicket, that’s part of its uniqueness.
In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have googled the term “plonder”. Let it be a warning to all y’alls.
You had to say that. Now I must look.
Not as terrible as I feared.

Or Dr Seuss……..
Ima stick with “Hey you!”
Isn’t that the name of the actor of the Sherlock series?
Can’t say I saw that coming.
“based on my research”
You mean that you Googled it?
Well it is in Google.
Pointing to this page. . .
So, Coppie it is
He just needs to name himself after Zeke’s Convergence from League of Legends and then the circle will be complete.
As an avid league player for the last 7 years, finding out that Zeke’s is named after CAD makes me so happy
Copplebronch Plondersnicket.
Mister Doctor has a new name.
That’s a great name for a D&D gnome.
Or a WoW gnome
WoW gnomes are DnD gnomes, specifically of the Margrett Weiss and Tracy Hickman variety.
Nah, that’s the guy who plays Dr. Strange in the MCU.
Can we call him CP?
CP…U? 😀
