Or they lied and used a fantasy name generator. No-one will be the wiser.

And people said my knowledge of the page with hundreds of different name generators wouldn’t come in handy…. HA! I say to they/them.

A name sure to strike fear in the hearts of mankind, as the Dark Mechanical Lord Copplebronch Plondersnicket smites those who would stand against them.

… how exactly does one plonder a snicket, anyways?

No-one ever tried to plonder a snicket, that’s part of its uniqueness.

In hindsight, I probably shouldn’t have googled the term “plonder”. Let it be a warning to all y’alls.

Not as terrible as I feared.

It seems like it ought to be some kind of amalgam of plunder and ponder or something of the sort.

Apparently a plond is ‘too big to be a pond, yet not big enough to be a lake’ according to some sketchy sort on the internet whose accuracy and veracity are immesurably small.

thats like saying dont look down when you are climbing to a high height. And now I need bleach for my eyeballs/brain

The thing you say, when a big polish man with hair that looks like the barcode on the back of your milk, begins spitting vodka droplets on your face when telling you about this squirrel he ran over.

Oh yeah he might’ve stole your kidney.
“Oi Plonder get a better hair cut you vodka drinking, squirrel killing, rat stranglingkidney stealing. Plonder!” –urban dictionary

What would be absolutely wild, is if Friday’s comic was suddenly something like The Campaign, meaning that for however long we’d all just have to DEAL with them naming themself Copplebronch.

This makes me think of the names Scott Sigler used for the Prawatt in the GLF series.

i hope that identity/gender-part of the story is finished soon. It makes me think of all the toxic politics going on currently and that does not mix well with the reasons i normally read this strip (relaxing, having fun)
