I also had no idea what a “boob streamer” was. Sure, i’m familiar with the concept of boobs, but… Streamers that make a fortune with nothing but their boobs going for them, in todays streaming market? Sounds unlikely. That would take more nudity then twitch / Youtube allows for, i think.
The boob streamers can get a decent following but if they don’t provide decent content on top of showing cleavage, then they won’t be able to grow their channel beyond a certain point and eventually they’ll decline because it does get stale watching their channel.
There is also the threat of getting banned from twitch and such for being a boob streamer if I recall.
Boob Streamer = female streamer. That is the gist. Female streamers on average get more followers more quickly than males. And get affiliate/partner status a lot quicker. Read the bios of some female streamers who say they started streaming and made partner less than 2 months later. Most male streamers can’t do that. And if by chance they happen to show cleavage regularly… just makes the above happen twice as fast.

Hey Tim, hope it’s fine I reach out this way. I’ve started getting autoplaying video ads on this site (with sound). I’m pretty sure you said back in a blog that was something you didn’t want to use, and it’s definatelly enough for me to re-enable ad-blocker on this site. The ad I have been getting pops out from the bottom right of the screen and is a German ad for Nicotinell. Not sure if that helps you figure out why this is a thing again, or if it just tells you that i’m trying to quit smoking… Anyway, i’ll… Read more »
I find I get the auto play video in the bottom right as well, however it does not play sound unless I scroll over it. Too bad they play sound for you right away, the visual aspect is basically white noise to my eyes.

On the one hand, these are all valid points.
On the other, Ethan can get weirdly obsessive, and if anyone can be consistently zany to the entertainment of others, it’s going to be … well, a fictional character who was written almost exclusively for that purpose … right?
