Loving your work as always Tim, been lurking and reading since the very start!

R-joints… wonder what R stands for exactly…

Also, how long until he 3D renders a face – or rips one off!

Ah, yes. Rather obvious really! I think my meat based brain is getting slow today.

Or it could be PG rating. R-rated joints sound about right in this context.

What I really want to know is where is he getting money? Did I miss something?

Mining crypto I’d say

Can’t be – Lucas or Scott would have noticed the small country’s worth of electricity they’re suddenly getting billed for and put a stop to it. Plus crypto isn’t money, you can’t buy anything with it.

Crypto isn’t money but a company may accept crypto of their own volition, in which case it’s more akin to bartering.

Mining isn’t always super costly. And yes, you can easily buy things with crypto, many sites trade gift cards for it.

They might not notice. Zeke’s clearly running some very advanced, and therefore very energy-intensive software in his… head/torso, so either they’re *already* getting giant energy bills, or Zeke is incredibly energy-efficient. Either way, cryptocurrency mining would be a very minor thing to Zeke.
At worst, he might have to divert some processing power and become stupid for a while… say, around the time that humans sleep.

There are other ways to mine crypto other than performing calculations. Check out HNT. It uses very little electricity.

probably using gamehaven funds.
He is living in their storage room, having ethan beeing ethan, it stands to reason that there is information of creditcards and these kinds of things aswell.

He could order using an after-delivery payment service, in which case the bill will just land in Ethan and Lucas’s laps. It’s the least these meatbags can do for him.

So he got a package to protect his package. Good robot logic.

Last panel:
That is just about the best quote from Ethan! Combines his usual quirky point of view with fundamental truth. Hilarious!
I want that on a t-shirt.

Didn’t Zeke already have a pair of pants? I distinctly remember him wearing pants at one point while hanging out in the back of the store.

Yeah, he had some sort of ninja pants

They even had an awkward moment with Ethan when ZK got naked, while talking with Switch

If I had to guess, he probably decided he’d rather have new pants than go back to the ninja outfit his weeb not-master dressed him in.

Still rates higher than spraying one’s self with Raid to try and keep the crabs down.

Or, and hear me out, Tim realized it’s faster and easier to draw a pair of pants than detailed servo joints and knew that robo dong jokes are comedic gold.

Great allusion in the first panel, a dark lord, mostly machine, leading an army of machines! Could what we’re reading be a prequel? One can only hope!
