Thank you for that. Skimming back to the start, it would appear that 1 has come full circle…

This is why we need four of you, so all your stories can go simultaneously.

Your talent, your comic, in your time. I’m willing to wait, as long as I know you’re still at it.
If you ever quit, please state it plainly.

I can relate to that one. I am writing a fic right now. Post a chapter, take a few days, and suddenly it’s a month since the last one was posted.

Nah, there’s a DMPC. Appropriately, it’s the cleric. Short of a bard, it’s the class most likely to keep you on the plot rails.

Bonus: the GM is the one responsible for the party’s buffs. Not awful for balance, yanno?

Player 4 / Cake always looks like she’s had a bad night, due to her baggy eyes. I wonder if that’s a conscious character design choice.

Believe it or not I’ve just reread the last chapter with #3’s quest just a few hours ago, so in a way it’s like this new chapter is directly following the last one for me. In any case just really happy to see the campaign return. 🙂

To be fair, Console Wars isn’t exactly a running plotline that can be expanded at any time like The Campaign or Analog and D-Pad. There needs to be developments in the real life console wars before the comic version can be expanded.

I know you do them based more on just gaming/console news.. So sporadic, periodic, updates makes all the sense in the world.

But, I just heard about this earlier today, so it may useful as a muse… Apparently Nintendo has allowed use of Xbox Live on the Switch. Would make for some interesting ‘partnering’ in Console Wars. Definitely considering Sony keeps holding out on the whole cross-platform gaming venture.

Thinking about the Switch in Console Wars brings a smile to my face, recalling the original intro panel where they kill one, only to have them move his head/screen to a new body and have him keep going. The opposing soldiers saying “DEAR GOD…” (or something to that effect) was fucking hilarious.

Definitely overdue. Especially now that Pathfinder RPG does actually have a Batman class called the “vigilante.” And the class’s iconic character shows how transparent the game developers are about it.

So because his background story as a Berserker with his dad is done he wants a new fresh character and goes with the “I am Batman” theme? I would have said no as GM as well. xD

It’s Matt Mercer running a 5th Ed D&D campaign on Geek & Sundry. It’s a great show! Speaking of editions, what system is 3 running? Pathfinder? D&D? Some other d20?

Yeah, it’s where a bunch of ‘Nerdy ass voice actors sit around and play Dungeons and Dragons’.

Voices of McCree, Jaina, and others are in there.

I get the Batman reference, but I just find the timing well-done since pre-orders for Shadowbreakers, the Dark Knight themed Final Fantasy XIV expansion, came out too. No doubt unintentional, but still well done!

Usually when I read these I give 3 the voice of Vic Mcnogna(?), but due to…recent events I’ve had to swap his voice with someone else. Any suggestions? I already have Spike Spencer for #1 and Greg Ayres seems a little too on the nose.

I just did this to my DM on Sunday. Except instead of Batman, I went with Krieg from Borderlands 2. He was surprisingly okay with it. But maybe that’s just because it meant I was putting away the slide whistle that my not-bard likes to play.
