I like the smile on Speck’s face in the last panel 😀
Just have a hunch that the Merc will be waiting for them at the Aphelion…

I expect the Merc and his partner, neither will be fooled by his distraction while the rest of the feds will be.

Both of them will know immediately what is happening when the alarms go off.

Is it me or does Speck look mighty evil in the last scene?

Dark red on purplish/black with a goblin’s body will do it.

So if ONE conduit would already let an alarm go to make sure people keep the main systems going does several conduits mean there is a chance those main systems cannot be saved anymore? Like lets say gravitation on the station or the stations own stable orbit or like a hangar door that needs to open to leave said station with a space craft? <.<

i think what Cort was about to say was one that wasnt critical to say the lifesupport systems or you know airlocks

I doubt, that so crucial and irreplaceable things would be as unguarded as they are. And just sitting there without any safeguards or a bunch of backups. You know, it’s not an exhaust port on a death star =)

I see it like how a pc works. You’d think there are only a couple important systems for it to need running but cut off enough of the “not-important” systems and sooner or later your important ones will collapse as well. Could happen here as well.

Hey Tim, every time I try to read CAD on my phone I get a popoup saying it is 28% damaged by four viruses and I should click OK to prevent them to damaging my sim-card (seriously, anyone click on those?). Could this be effect of the ad api on the site?

Hopefully, none of those manage anything that goes boom….

Well, Cort did say to make sure not to pick one that doesn’t…. and it ends there so yeah, some stuff might go boom which is why Cort wants to run. If the station explodes I doubt Nyrah will be happy about that development.^^

In the plus column, this will be the first time that she’s mad only at Speck. Every other times she’s been mad, it’s been either at Cort or at Cort and Speck. That’s progress of a type, right?

Hey Tim, I just happened to take a look back at space archaeologist, and some of the comics in and around that series. I would like to comment on how far your artwork has come. Seriously awesome stuff these days. You’re style has really evolved over the years, and its neat to go back and compare old vs. current. Sometimes when watching a particular artist for well over a decade, you don’t notice the changes as they happen, until you revisit. Again, great work these days, and thank you for finally bringing Starcaster back, so far, it has been worth… Read more »

Aaaaaand this is exactly why I voted to go right back to the ship.

A little out of character for Speck to jump on something so quickly, though, isn’t it? He’s usually the sensible one.

If you were stuck in a little bubble and couldn’t touch anything but a few mechanical controls and a specially-made tool here or there, wouldn’t you be a little antsy to stretch your arms out and sink your fingers into some space-age alloys?

that dosnt lead to a boom…. gets on ship… leaves station goes boom…hell well looks like we racked up one hell of a bill…looks at all the escape vessels flying around feds rescuing as many as they can

Yeah, this pretty much summed up what I was expecting to happen XD
Odds of the Feds having their ship destroyed by the riot and “accidentally” hijacking the Aphelion? …close to 0, but it’d be funny.

Is it just me or does it seem like Speck and Rocket Raccoon could be best friends?

And here I was hoping Speck would have severed the conduit that has the alarm system on it, ruining the plan to create a diversion. But this is better.

(For the record, I voted for ‘run to the ship,’ but I was fine with either option.)

Hey Tim,

I admit that I didn’t enjoy the space chronicles story when they originally began. But the more I read, the more I enjoy the characters and story.

Each panel makes me want to read the next, and the characters all seem original and have their own uniqueness to them.

The internet has too much negativity, so that makes it more important to tell others to keep up the good work!

Reminds me of the chainsaw cutting through similar in Die Hard scene, lol 🙂
