Ah I do hope this will be a new character introduction and not a vignette of sorts. I love the current cast but it’d be good to see another perspective on what’s going on.
Yeah it would be fun to see the perspective of a little person on the ground inside the empire! We see so much from the weird perspective of Cort, will be fun to see the consequences of his actions.

Nice perspective considering the ending of the for issue.
One note. It might just be me, but the shading on these characters seems off. Like unwanted highlight or shadows here and there. Could be wrong though, but it doesn’t feel completely right.
I think you are right, to me the shadow parts on skin etc. seem brighter instead of darker.
Or rather the all the areas which should be the darkest are brighter like:
Most noticeable on the skin and tanktop(light grey->grey->dark grey-> light blue)
The only exception is the hair I think?
One of our main characters is literally just a head on a mobile jar of organs 😉 So they can definitely use technology to keep organic tissue alive, and as you said, given the option between losing an entire arm, or just part of it, most people would opt to keep part of it if they could.

May be related to the lighting and reflective surfaces in the mess hall. Looks like a lot of polished steel in the motif.

Maybe, but it’s usually better to have a human arm. If the nerves were non-functional, I’d opt for a robotic arm though.
