Gaming, baby

July 2, 2003 by Tim

Lucas continues his foray into Morrowind. I’d seriously suggest that anyone who hasn’t taken a look at this game, do so. It’s utterly enormous. I first got it when it came out a year ago, but now, between the expansions and mountains of player-created content, there is no end to what you can do in this game.

The response to the NWN group was…. to put lightly, overwhelming. Apparently a lot of you out there are interested in the same thing I’m looking for. I got enough responses to create a good dozen gaming groups. I wish I could choose all of you.

I’ll be making my decisions and notifying those who will get to give this a go. Thanks for the responses everyone.

Don’t forget to check back in tomorrow, for a BONUS STRIP. Yeah, that’s right. You heard me correctly. A BONUS STRIP. Why, you ask? I’ll tell you tomorrow.

I’d like to draw your attention to the new graphic below the vertical skyscraper banner to your right. “So, what is DayFree Press?”, you’re wondering.

Basically it’s an affiliation of web comics, a small community, if you will. I’ve teamed up with the likes of Sam Logan from Sam and Fuzzy and Brian Clevinger from 8-Bit Theater, just to name a few. The general idea behind the group is to provide support to eachother, and embark on lot’s of promising collaborations. It could produce some really interesting stuff, so keep an eye out.

Both Brian Clevinger and I will be in Connecticut in a few weeks for ConnectiConn. If you’re in the area, try to swing by and say hello. I’ll be there selling artwork, prints, posters, signing stuff and probably drawing up Ctrl+Alt+Del portraits too. It’s three days long, from the 18th through the 20th.
