Ultimate Destruction

August 22, 2005 by Tim

Otakon was a whirlwind this year. Things just moved so quickly, I didn’t even get to meet up with all of the people I wanted to. Conventions happen this way sometimes. There are certain friends you only get to see once a twice a year at these things, but you get there and you’re both so busy you never have a common free moment to relax and hang out.

I was also in the dealer’s room this year, which separated me from a bunch of the other webcomics that were down in the Artist’s Alley, which was a shame. But I’m glad I was in the dealer’s room… traffic by our booth was great and the Alley was just too cramped.

I met a lot of great fans. Thank you all for coming out. I’ll try and get a little convention report and some pictures up soon.

I don’t have any more conventions scheduled for 2005, which is just fine by me. I’m not a huge fan of travel. I will be at Vericon in January, though.

Back to the routine now. I was driving all day yesterday, then when I got home I was up until 1am doing today’s comic. I may take a little break today and play some World of Warcraft.

If you’re a member of The Rapscallions, make sure you’re above L5 before this afternoon. I will be purging all members under L5. This Friday I will be purging all members under L10. After that, L10 is the new minimum level requirement for the guild.

The Bloody Carrots currently have no level requirements, but some purges will take place in the near future.

Hulk comes out tomorrow. I would have been happy to do nothing but play this game for the entire three days of E3, and I’m pretty psyched to have it in my home where it can be enjoyed without a line of sweaty video game nerds breathing over my shoulder.
