We’d live there if we could

March 10, 2010 by Tim

Finally starting to recouperate from this weekend. What a blast that was. It’s funny, in the weeks leading up to Digital Overload there’s so much stress involved. “Did I forget anything, is everything planned out, is everything going to arrive on time, what’s going to explode and how will we fix it?” And yet as soon as the weekend is over, as exhausted as achey as the staff are, we can’t wait to turn around and do it all over again next year.

So once again I want to thank our incredible staff and volunteers who made this event possible this year. You guys really stepped your game up and we pulled off one hell of a smooth event. I wish I got to hang out with you all more than once a year.

Thank you to all the attendees who showed up and put the heart into Digital Overload. You guys are the awesome fuel that keeps that party trucking, and I love showing up each year and seeing so many familiar faces as well as all new ones. Thanks for coming to hang out with us this weekend, and I hope you had as much fun as I did!

And finally a gigantic thank you to our sponsors, without whom we wouldn’t have all that cool stuff to give away.

SUMO once again provided Digital Overload with a ton of their incredible beanbag chairs, which at this point have become a staple of the Digital Overload experience. I think pretty much every attendee enjoyed a SUMO at some point over the weekend, and especially those who got to take one home!

We were thrilled to have Nation Voice with us at the event to not only provide all of our attendees with Ventrilo service, but they also gave away some really nice swag and discounts! D-Link also sponsored us with some gear to help power our massive LAN.

A big thank you to Thermaltake, Harmonix, Dust-off, Gameskulls and CPU magazine for providing us with really great prizes to give away!

We’re already hard at work planning for Digital Overload 2011, and we’ve got a lot of great ideas and improvements in store for all aspects of the event, so stay tuned in the coming months for earlybird registration and more details about what’ll be going down at the next Digital Overload!
