It’s quite the weirdest thing that happens, really. If I happen to be playing multiple games at once (not at the same time, but rather having multiple games in progress during a given time period), they begin to meld. Right now the culprits are World of Warcraft and Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. I play both every […]
Last night I felt great. In perfect health. This morning I wake up with a nasty sore throat and the beginnings of sinus congestion. I feel like crap. It’s as if, while I slept, my white blood cells said “C’mon boys, he’s asleep! Let’s go to a strip club and get drunk!”. And then they […]
Been keeping myself fairly busy lately, but what else is new. Let’s start off with The Hulk. It was a few months ago that I first found the trailer for this game. Actually, it was about 3am the morning I was getting on a plane to attend E3 in Los Angeles. Imagine my joy when […]
Otakon was a whirlwind this year. Things just moved so quickly, I didn’t even get to meet up with all of the people I wanted to. Conventions happen this way sometimes. There are certain friends you only get to see once a twice a year at these things, but you get there and you’re both […]
It’s 1am, but I got today’s comic finished before I fell asleep. Convention wore me out a bit. Going to go pass out now. Will post news and stuff when I wake up.
Made it back home from Otakon. 7+ hour drive. Turnpike traffic. New York traffic. Bleh. I’m pretty tired and hungry, but I’m going to work on Monday’s comic. I’ll try and get it finished, but if I don’t it will be up shortly after I wake up. (read: mid-day)
Jerry- I’m down in Baltimore at Otakon right now, and I don’t do the email thing on my laptop, or I would have sent a straight message. But hell, that’s great news man. Congratulations to both of you!
The “Horde Elementary School” took another field trip tonight, all the way to the northern reaches of Darkshore. We staged just north of the Crossroads in the Barrens. We had two full raid groups and a third still taking invites, plus some stragglers tagging along. Well over 100 people. We then marched north to the […]
Comic Stuff: This will be the last newspost until next week. I’m leaving for Baltimore, Maryland to attend Otakon. I’ll be down in the dealer’s room with The ZeStuff crew, Brian “Hurricane Magnet” Clevinger, and Scott “Mackerel is my favorite color” Ramsoomair. Be sure to come say hello. I’ll be easy to find. Just look […]
Recruiting for The Rapscallions has closed. We are not currently accepting any new members. We have created a sister guild, The Bloody Carrots, to continue inviting CAD fans. Message Teqaraku, Jamath, or Dooga to be invited.
I’ll make them pretty later. I have a lot of work to do right now. In the meantime, you can start posting. Also, it would seem The Rapscallions is full. In a week or so I will be removing everyone under level 10, so we will have some open spots. In the meantime, we are […]
The Rapscallions harried Goldshire and Elwynn Forest tonight. Staging in Grom’Gul before the trip north. We arrive en masse on the beaches of Westfall… And proceed to tear across the open plains and farmlands, killing everything in our path. Things began to go well once we hit Goldshire. …Until someone killed a civilian. The guards […]
I just got off the phone with Scott. His only concern is that we’re going to break the WoW server, and frankly, I can understand where he’s coming from. The server crashed last night during a raid on Westfall. Right now there are some pretty high queues to join the game, but once people go […]
The Rapscallions CAD guild is filling up! I have to get some work done today to prepare for Otakon this weekend, but I’ll be around playing later this evening. In the meantime, you can look for one of the guild officers for an invite! The ranks are as follows: Guild Leader- Mountebank Guild Officer- Charlatan […]
Ctrl+Alt+Del fans have united to form The Rapscallions, a Horde World of Warcraft guild on the Dark Iron server. We have allied with Panda Attack and Djork to battle The Knights of Arcadia and Alliance scum. Want to join in on the fight? Create a Horde character on Dark Iron, and then message Exanimus, Jullivia, […]
The sirens of war have sounded, and Ctrl+Alt+Del has answered the call. Ctrl+Alt+Del fans have united to form The Rapscallions, a Horde World of Warcraft guild on the Dark Iron server. We have allied with Panda Attack and Djork to battle The Knights of Arcadia and Alliance scum. Want to join in on the fight? […]
The Rapscallions live! Dark Iron server, Horde side. Message me, Exanimus, in-game for an invite. More information soon.
Well that figures. I just purchase the guild charter, and the server goes down. I am going to be out in front of the entrance to Undercity. I need 10 signatures on the guild charter, and then I will be doing general invites and such.
Ok, we raised quite a bit of in-game money here. Enough to start the guild AND buy a tabard. We don’t need any more monetary donations at the moment. Save your money for leveling yourself up. I’m trying to respond to everyone, but I’m getting absolutely drowned with /tells. If I don’t respond to you, […]
I’m almost level 7… starting a guild is expensive, so we’re going to need people to scrape together the coppers to make this thing happen as soon as possible. Edit: Actually it’s only 10s to start a guild. That’s easy. Tabards are expensive.
I was going to wait until Blizzard launched an RP PVP server to create a CAD World of Warcraft guild. However, I have just spoken with Scott Kurtz over at PvP, and we have settled our differences. Ctrl+Alt+Del is going to rally beside Panda Attack on the Horde side, against the Knights of Arcadia and […]
I promise that when (if) Blizzard launches some RP PVP servers, that I will roll a new character (Horde) and start a CAD guild. This is your heads up, so that when (if) the servers go live, everyone can start off on the same foot. If they launch multiple servers with the RP PVP ruleset […]
I was first exposed to F.E.A.R. at E3 this year when Brian and I were attempting to get free hot dogs. Some of you may remember me commenting about the game after I returned from L.A. At first it struck me as just another first-person shooter, and I was pretty unimpressed. Then a Microsoft employee […]
The general opinion seems to be that meeting stones are worthless because they create unbalanced groups. It is my understanding of the mechanics of meeting stones that the system’s first funcion is to assemble a group out of an assortment of classes (tank, healer, etc). However, if you aren’t giving the meeting stones variety to […]
