EA/Dice have instructed all of the server rental agencies to rollback their servers to the pre-1.01 install. This means that the only way to remove the 1.01 patch and play on any of the servers is to reinstall Battlefield 2. Ugh.
The patch was tested today and deemed not ready for release. Have to wait a little bit longer, I guess.
