I’ll have you know, Our Lord and Savior of Pizza, Cheesus Crust takes offense to that. Okay, maybe not, but he is biased that pizza is top dog when it comes to foodstuffs.
Hot Dog can take its position behind its betters, like Bratwurst, Italian Sausage, and Kielbasa, and feel lucky that its allowed a place upon The Grill at all.
Not betting against you there. Ethan was completely honest when he offered what he did.
My bet’s on that Zeke is listening, right now. Movement’s been taken away. Sight. Speech. But hearing, probably not. And I think he’ll hear everything that happens in the next minute or so, and maybe, FINALLY, believe him.
A very angry, planning to utterly destroy arrow will probably be near unstoppable and extremely “sharp”, you could bet on how many/which body parts Ethan loses trying to stop it.

Always been wondering… Does Ethan have anything to say about his respawn? Like location or timing?
I think he just respawns wherever the plot demands it
(it’s as much a game trope, as it is a comic trope, so I think it’s valid for a game-related power)
Not quite, it looks like he always spawns within a few feet of where he died, which makes sense given how he got his powers. Side scrolling beat’em up games have you reenter from the left edge of the screen regardless of where you died, and as far as I can remember Ethan has always respawned on the left side following suit lol
I always imagine it’s the last “safe” place he was at.
When he was pushed out of a window he didn’t spawn mid air a second before he died, he respawned where he was last safe.

Nope, Ethan is gonna interrupt, and say that he’s a man of his word, and is gonna free Xbot from Dr Robotnik’s control. Xbot will be ungrateful, of course, and after killing Dr Robotnik, threaten to become a recurring villain.

So Ethan can respawn anywhere, and not just in his respawn chamber at their house?
Agreed, it looks like Scott showed who the *true* Master is in the world of tech 😉

Yeah, it seems likely that Ethan is going to stop this, and that would definitely be a mistake. Major props to Scott for his skillz, but these two don’t know what’s happening and are definitely still in danger. Cutting the robot in half will eliminate the immediate threat and it wouldn’t be fatal, nor even necessarily permanent.
What about instead of complete destruction, Lucas cuts off legs and arms? Scott can also reassemble once the bot can convince them he’s on their side now.
I’m actually Team Ethan. It may bite them in the butt, but he’s a person, and deserves freedom. Measures like that will only reinforce that all humanity can’t be trusted.
I know. You know he’s been contemplating this, with the constant threat of death as his motivation. Every day, every hour. Wondering how, when, and what.
Look at his eyes. Between panel two, and panel six. I do think that he can hear right now. Recognizes that Ethan wasn’t bluffing about ‘the friend who can help’. And recognizes that he’s about to die.

Dun dun DUNNNN!
Missed being first by 48 seconds… you, sir, are now my nemesis!
On a side note, wanna bet a pizza that Ethan stops Lucas?
Or a hamburger if that is your preference…
But not a taco, those are not bet-worthy
Can do pasta though!
Pasta carbonara
In like, an American Pie way?
Tacos are the nectar of the gods; manna from heaven bestowed upon us mere mortals.
I’ll have you know, Our Lord and Savior of Pizza, Cheesus Crust takes offense to that. Okay, maybe not, but he is biased that pizza is top dog when it comes to foodstuffs.

Taco pizza, maybe.
Machete says otherwise
TACO IS LIFE

Since left is relative to point of view, this answer would be correct in all cases.
Conversely, it would also be wrong in all cases. It could be considered Schrodinger’s spawn point.
I always imagine it’s the last “safe” place he was at.
When he was pushed out of a window he didn’t spawn mid air a second before he died, he respawned where he was last safe.

There is no “respawn chamber” in these comics, at least, not that I recall. Ethan always respawns within a certain range of where he died.
He always was safe within a certain range of where he died.
Yeah, I think you might be thinking of the Players (the monochromatic maniacs who are always killing each other).
4 is hot
Hmm, I did say he needs a reset, not a R.U.D.
Ethan better not stop him cuz I doubt this will last long.
Idk, it looks like the dude is completely locked out now.
Agreed, it looks like Scott showed who the *true* Master is in the world of tech 😉

There’s no reason to believe that the CPU of Xbot is in his head rather than somewhere in the abdomen or distributed between extremities.
I really like all these comics, but I adore the last storyline.
Edge of my seat in every update.
Need moar!!! 😀 😛
Patrons get more. I was at the $10 tier and highly recommend. I’m looking forward to when I can afford to resume my contributions.
Ah so this is the moment when fake Ethan finally reveals himself and attacks Lukas.
Obviously I’m team Lucas (every piece into a fire and so forth), but 100% Ethan is going to stop this.
Probably only saves the hard drive / head.
For the record, it’s not like I’m going to be super mad if he isn’t destroyed, but who would it reinforce that to if he no longer exists.
“If you kill me, it will prove me right!” And I’m here like “sure, but you’ll still be dead.”
Lots of pathos there in Zekebot’s last words. Not quite Tears in Rain, but pretty good.
