As a Trump fan who actually loves this comic, allow me to suggest that Trump Fore Ever May not even be a legit Trump supporter and may be someone on the left attempting to spread the negative view some have of us Right-leaning geeks.
As someone who agrees with John, let me just say that this guy is more than likely a troll in lieu of an actual Trump supporter. The NPC meme is meant to be used to point out hypocricy, not to dismiss other viewpoints.
Except I see more left leaning snowflakes exhibiting those qualities for the past 2 years, I would suspect that the commenter uses that screen name to make people think he is right-wing when he is not.
So It’s probably a troll. It’s hard to believe anybody could misspell the word “for” by accident. That being said, throwing around derogatory words on a forum will never go anywhere pleasant.
Is it a leap though? The combination of the content of the original comment being extremely thin and the obviously bad misspelling seems a bit much. On this forum you can enter any name you like and comment and (I’m sorry for the conjecture if it’s misplaced) but a seemingly different user had a very well-worded and consise response about a relatively obscure meme literally fifteen minutes later.

I don’t know about you guys, but I think that Emily is reminding Ethan of Scott’s RELATIONSHIP, not Scott himself. It seems that Scott was good friends with a woman, dated her (I think), and ruined it completely. As such, Ethan is worried that he will lose Emily in the same way that Scott lost his ex-girlfriend.
Interesting. Didn’t knew or forgot that Scott ruined his relationship, I thought she died or something. Ethan’s explanation for “Scott” next page gonna be interesting for sure.
In fairness, one’s death does tend to ruin one’s relationship, especially if the survivor feels in any way responsible for it.

To all the people thinking Ethan has gone gay, I really doubt that is the case. My take away from this is maybe he feels Scott and Emily would be a good match together. We will have to wait and see though.

I mean it’s hard for me to empathize with Lucas here because IS the reason why Ethan is in a relationship with her in the first place, by using that mis-guided “just ask a random girl out” approach. I could see this situation coming a mile away!
Maybe Ethan so strongly believes that he is unable to have a proper relationship that he’s trying to predict the failure of a strong and healthy one.

Scott is pretty upset last thanksgiving comic when asked by lucas if he is ready to start dating again. To the point where I kind of assumed that maybe his girlfriend had died. I also kind of wonder if Scott and Ethan’s sister were dating. Ethan’s sister gets killed walking home from a movie, and Scott gets injured? Somehow tying into Ethan not wanting a relationship while Scott still hurts over Ethan’s sister? Maybe not sensible, but sometimes peoples minds do weird things.
