Probably, I’m just having a really hard time coming up with an example. Granted I don’t play Cthulhu like Vicente.
I play Call of Cthulhu like Vicente does (and run it too). I’ve never seen a vampire bear, but I’ve inflicted zombie crows on my players before. The thing to remember about vampire bears is that they’re more afraid of you than you are of them.
Playing in an Australian setting we had to fight through a forest full of drop bears. It was a nightmare

to be fair, i can understand 1 doing that on purpose. 2 was acting like a total douche, major ego. and yes i know each character has had their ego moments, but 2 was going a bit too far, basically acting like he was the only one on the team who could do anything, and the others were just tagging along for free loot and experience. “coattails are right back here. all aboard!” “ok what challenge am i conquering this time?” i get the dice is super fancy and he was high rolling, but seriously he needed his ego deflated… Read more »
Though 1 was also saying his character was weak/useless before the first roll. And after a couple more good rolls immediately calls foul. Seems like he sees the game as more of a competition than a team game. But ya, 2 was def on an ego trip.
