The hurricane has done quite a number on New Orleans, and thousands of people are estimated dead, and many many more than that now homeless.
I know my readership consists largely of college students, all of whom are going back to school this month. And I know that a lot of college students eke by on Tuna Fish and Ramen, and don’t have much cash to spare.
But if anyone was looking for a good cause to donate to this month, I think the Red Cross would probably be the best choice you could make.
