I just got off the phone with Scott. His only concern is that we’re going to break the WoW server, and frankly, I can understand where he’s coming from. The server crashed last night during a raid on Westfall. Right now there are some pretty high queues to join the game, but once people go […]

The Rapscallions CAD guild is filling up! I have to get some work done today to prepare for Otakon this weekend, but I’ll be around playing later this evening. In the meantime, you can look for one of the guild officers for an invite! The ranks are as follows: Guild Leader- Mountebank Guild Officer- Charlatan […]

Ctrl+Alt+Del fans have united to form The Rapscallions, a Horde World of Warcraft guild on the Dark Iron server. We have allied with Panda Attack and Djork to battle The Knights of Arcadia and Alliance scum. Want to join in on the fight? Create a Horde character on Dark Iron, and then message Exanimus, Jullivia, […]

The sirens of war have sounded, and Ctrl+Alt+Del has answered the call. Ctrl+Alt+Del fans have united to form The Rapscallions, a Horde World of Warcraft guild on the Dark Iron server. We have allied with Panda Attack and Djork to battle The Knights of Arcadia and Alliance scum. Want to join in on the fight? […]

The Rapscallions live! Dark Iron server, Horde side. Message me, Exanimus, in-game for an invite. More information soon.

Well that figures. I just purchase the guild charter, and the server goes down. I am going to be out in front of the entrance to Undercity. I need 10 signatures on the guild charter, and then I will be doing general invites and such.

Whoa

Ok, we raised quite a bit of in-game money here. Enough to start the guild AND buy a tabard. We don’t need any more monetary donations at the moment. Save your money for leveling yourself up. I’m trying to respond to everyone, but I’m getting absolutely drowned with /tells. If I don’t respond to you, […]

Guild

I’m almost level 7… starting a guild is expensive, so we’re going to need people to scrape together the coppers to make this thing happen as soon as possible. Edit: Actually it’s only 10s to start a guild. That’s easy. Tabards are expensive.

I was going to wait until Blizzard launched an RP PVP server to create a CAD World of Warcraft guild. However, I have just spoken with Scott Kurtz over at PvP, and we have settled our differences. Ctrl+Alt+Del is going to rally beside Panda Attack on the Horde side, against the Knights of Arcadia and […]

I promise that when (if) Blizzard launches some RP PVP servers, that I will roll a new character (Horde) and start a CAD guild. This is your heads up, so that when (if) the servers go live, everyone can start off on the same foot. If they launch multiple servers with the RP PVP ruleset […]

Afraid… like a fox

I was first exposed to F.E.A.R. at E3 this year when Brian and I were attempting to get free hot dogs. Some of you may remember me commenting about the game after I returned from L.A. At first it struck me as just another first-person shooter, and I was pretty unimpressed. Then a Microsoft employee […]

The consensus

The general opinion seems to be that meeting stones are worthless because they create unbalanced groups. It is my understanding of the mechanics of meeting stones that the system’s first funcion is to assemble a group out of an assortment of classes (tank, healer, etc). However, if you aren’t giving the meeting stones variety to […]

I can’t speak for every server, and it may be due to the fact that (despite a recent character transfer infusion) my server is still ‘low population’, but meeting stones the best utility that nobody is using. World of Warcraft doesn’t have any decent ‘Looking for Group’ system of it’s own. I long for Blizzard […]

So…

I’ve heard that the sheer volume of email being sent to Jack “Hot Coffee” Thompson has shut down his email service. But you know… Jack strikes me as being a little bit thick. I think he needs even more email. You know, just to make sure the message is getting across. But that’s just me.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Jack Thompson. You know, that power tripping lawyer from Miami who thinks video games are the devil, and solely responsible for human stupidity? The guy that blames video game developers when their customers create mods/hacks that add sexual/violent content to a video game. Because obviously it’s the […]

If you ordered one of the books you have received an email that explains the delays and gives a new estimated shipping date. Basically the paperback books are all done, but the hardcovers aren’t. To get the books hardcased is a different process, and this is the first time we’ve offered hardcover books, so it’s […]
