I was wondering if the cliche kidnap the girlfriend would happen here (which would be funny due to her stance on heros and no the breakup) but with the breakup before he found Ethan that is less likely. Looking forward to their next encounter.
We may still see a “Kidnap the ‘girlfriend'” scenario, which will be when Emily finds out why Ethan is passionate about heroes

Ah the delicious hypocrisy. For a person who wants to destroy technology they seem to have quite a nice setup. Bet he never has lag issues when playing online. 😛
No doubt he sees himself as being just the biggest victim of technological dependence. I suspect he is lonely and has limited social skills due to self-imposed isolation that that is enabled in part by technology. He probably sees himself as being just a particularly extreme example of a sickness that is plaguing the whole world.

Let’s say that you needed to issue a search warrant on this individual and not everyone had some sort of fancy phone system to display the image constantly. If you knew the guy you were looking for was a white male you would be a lot less likely to harass Elijah on the street.

Waaaait a minute. If charges weren’t pressed, why did he get finger printed?
The police have the RIGHT to take fingerprints when a person is formally charged with a crime, but it seems like prints are generally taken when a person is taken into custody. An individual has the right to request those prints be destroyed if they aren’t charged of something, or had been charged but were declared innocent.
Chances are, Ethan’s not savvy with the law, and if an officer asked for his prints, he likely complied.
Depending on jurisdiction, even if found innocent or charges being dropped, the prints remain in the system
They are SUPPOSED to delete them within a certain time frame (which could be up to 6 months) but even if they were required to do so immediately, given the paperwork needed to formally let you go, and the whole bureaucracy thing, it’s probably gonna be a couple of weeks at least

I felt so sure that Creator must be a CAD 1.0 character, but looking at skin tone of the arm and hand, as well as his physique, I can’t think of any side or minor character who matches that.
And yeah, skin tone and weight are changeable things, but for a gamer, tan and heavy don’t normally go together. Tan implies ‘outdoors’ while heavy implies ‘indoors’, and from the look of it, Creator doesn’t get out much.

Chances are pretty slim, as she was not at the arcade station with Lucas and Ethan, when they got zapped and powerloaded. So unless she also had some freak incident where a videogame transferred powers into her, she probably did not get that power or any other. Sad truth is that she died, and thats all she wrote.

So I really like what’s being attempted here, I think that this storyline could have some real possibilities if used correctly. So great job Tim! But I also really think that this was built up poorly. Like, Ethan and Lucas both know that Zeke has their names, but they don’t talk about it at all! I reread the analog and D-pad comics and the never mention it. Did I miss a comic where they talked about it?
I am waiting for the Reveal later that tells Ethan that he does not have infinite Continues, just something like 99 Lives, and the next existential crisis that comes with the renewed sense of mortality.
