You know… those devilbirds look like roosters… do while Four is DM’ing, the title of the next comic should be “against the cock”. A ‘cock fight’ if you will… or Two (if he can) could cast a barrier spell and they would be… ‘cockblocked’… *puts on sunglasses*
I bet Strudel had a side hobby of studying devilbirds and was actually able to speak to/befriend them. For any roll higher than a 2 they not only could have avoided the fight but they also could have gotten a free ride back! If only he had lived….:p

Well, you can’t accuse 4 of manipulating the situation so she’s more likely to be resurrected…
AKA The guy or gal who is running the game. They are Referee, Story Teller, NPCS, Monsters, The environment, they are basically the game engine for any tabletop game.

At this point they need to bring Chef Brian to DM the game otherwise 3 will be getting his arse shipped by 4 because of the death by arrow event last quest. The chef may actually make it more interesting, heck pull the Dallas Fever Dream stunt at the end only to find that 4 dreamed it all up on the way to the temple.

You know I really wonder if 4 is trying to get Cake killed. then agian she’s prety skitzo at the best of times so her bouncing between threatening to haunt the other players if she dies to all but actively sabotageing the chances of living makes sense.

Sorry if this is obvious it’s just that I went back and re read the Campaign Comics (because there are only like 85 pages of them) and noticed some things about her technique and fighting style.

Ranger, I think, or the equivalent. It was said once, I’d I can find where I’ll note it.
She was called a roguestress, but with ranger training. So, no idea. This was back with the innkeeper arc.
Maybe she’s multi-classed
My guess is 4 is going to pull a LotR and the devilhawks take them straight back to her body. Thus book ending the movie references.
But only time will tell.
You know, if 4 does this out of spite, she is never going to get resurrected. So, she better not screw herself over.
