Only two macroscopic life forms perhaps. I forget if there’s any other explanation for them both being able to breathe other than some life form generating the oxygen.

It’s a “Failed Terraforming Planet.” So, there’s enough resources for life, but not enough for an ecosystem. Because Alien Terraforming gods.

one is a full cyborg safe for her head, the other has a magical artifact that prevents any harm to happen to him

Is she really full cyborg except for her head? Her arm is bandaged, which is normally not something you do unless there is a flesh wound. Also, I’ve always wondered if her entire head is 100% natural. She has the purple face spike/tentacle/horn bits, which are probably normal for her race, but what about the blue bit on top? Is that part of *her as well? I’ve always kind of wondered, part of the fun of making alien races, can make them whatever you want in your imagination.

When the arm was cut, it didn’t bleed; the bandages are just to keep the wiring safe from dangling in corrosive elements like air or sunlight unfiltered by air.

And we’ve seen how she and her brother were in their prime, they had the head-crest and big tails like Freeza.

You mean this comic from 2014?

The strange thing is. In 2014 the crest had the same color as the rest of her head, but when Tim came back to the comic in 2015 it was blue.

I want to say that can be hand-waved with lighting, but the flashback panel suggests the blue might be make-up; so what I said still stands, just not exactly as I remember it.

Just because her robot body has no blood circulating does not mean there were not other fluids leaking out that should probably stay on the inside. it was exposed wires and tubes leaking fluids when she lost the arm as I recall. They patched the stump up as best they could which aparently included bandages.
The body is also falling apart, it was ment more as a medical life pod than a permanent replacement body. It was never designed to take the strain she keeps subjecting it to.

You are making a lot of assumptions (do they both actually breath oxygen).

Regardless, the atmosphere was tested when they arrived and found to be breathable, if just. It would take months (years probably) for 2, 3 people to make a significant change to the composition of a planets atmosphere. It literally doesn’t matter if CO2 is being converted to O2.

Still not speaking to him I see. Fair enough, he was sort of a twit with all that.

Yeah not getting the vibes this story as a whole is going to have a romantic arc for its main characters any time soon, if ever.

Female pilot had a schoolyard romance plot with the engineer, remember? For pathos. Would be weird to shoehorn the protagonist into that.

I thought the Dranglaex blew up the station she was at

They haven’t been mentioned or shown blowing up any stations, just several cities and most of a fleet. Did you mistake her wing-woman for a station?

Could always use the starcaster to cut the moon in half if you really wanted to be separated? Or the ever popular draw a line with the weapon of planetary destruction?

Not criticizing, but it would have been hilarious if Tim had left this page with them just sitting and eating, no words, just to make us feel the awkward all weekend long.

Maybe it’s time for everyone to finally learn why Cort got fired and became wanted dangerous criminal (I doubt that being a smuggler makes him so dangerous some Federation marshals want to eliminate him on sight), other that “He’s the only corrupted cop that got himself caught in the act”.
