I’m pretty excited about the Tomb Raider reboot releasing next week. For the past fifteen years or so I feel like the franchise has sort of been eclipsed by the running joke that is its protagonist’s cup size, to the detriment of the games themselves. That’s not to say the games weren’t enjoyable. Some of […]
All of the Dungeon Delve prints have now been shipped! If you ordered a print, and haven’t received it yet, you can now keep a lookout for it in the mail. US residents should have them within a week, and International residents should have them within 7-10 business days. I do have some left (I […]
Prints are showing up in the wild, and are well underway with shipping. Over half of the orders have been posted, which means if you ordered in the first couple of days, your print is in the mail. I expect the remainder of the orders to go out on Monday/Tuesday.
Even if you didn’t watch Sony’s PS4 presentation on Wednesday evening, chances are by now you’ve heard all the relevant talking points. You didn’t really miss much otherwise. It was, as expected, stuffed to the brim with hyperbole and promises, and actually very little concrete commitment. A lot of what they’re planning to do actually […]
Yesterday Bungie finally unveiled the first details about their big new game, Destiny. Apparently it’s a sci-fi first-person shooter, and you play as the one person who stands between humanity and the hordes of angry aliens that want to wipe us out. Oh, and also there’s a huge, mysterious round alien object in space that […]
My original plan, as stated previously, was to get all of the materials for the Dungeon Delve print delivered last week, spend the weekend signing and assembling them, and begin shipping on Monday. The blizzard had other plans. Our area got hit with over three feet of snow on Friday, basically stopping everything in its […]
I keep killing the battery on my 3DS from marathon sessions of Fire Emblem: Awakening, so I guess it’s safe to say I’m hooked. I think I’ve talked about this before, but generally when games give you a myriad of characters to recruit over the course of the game, I tend to get super attached […]
I received a shipment this week of all the materials I need (mailers, framing mats, etc), so I’ve started assembling orders. I expect the Dungeon Delve prints to begin shipping next week, in the order they were received. I’ll post once I know how fast I’m able to get these out.
I went out and picked up Fire Emblem: Awakening yesterday. Or rather I should say I went out and bought a 3DS XL and then downloaded Fire Emblem, because apparently it didn’t ship when it was supposed to and most stores didn’t get it. Either way, I’ve never played a Fire Emblem game before, but […]
I dove into Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch over the weekend, despite my long history of dislike when it comes to Japanese RPGs. It’s not as bad as all that, though. I’ve developed a sort of love/hate relationship with the game. You play as this kid Oliver who loses his mother early […]
I am not an enormous fan of JRPGs. I’ve stated this at length in the past. But I was really intrigued by Ni no kuni, both from a visual aspect and then from all of the praise it’s been getting. So I picked it up for me and my wife to play through together. It […]
The Discovery Channel is one of my favorite stations. I dig learning stuff, and they have a lot of neat specials. I generally dislike any sort of reality television, but I find I make an exception for some of the stuff that Discovery puts out. Something about watching people try to strike it rich in […]
You. Me. League of Legends. Murder Bridge. This evening. Between 5pm and 7pm EST I’m going to jump on stream, and on League of Legends. There I’ll create some custom ARAM games that you can join if you’re watching. You can be level 1 or level 30, it doesn’t matter. Let’s have some fun. Hope […]
I picked up access to the beta for the new SimCity, and got to play with it for a little bit. It looks pretty neat. I haven’t really played a SimCity since the original way back in middle school, but the game looked great and still felt really familiar, albeit with a bit of a […]
On Friday I made a post to let you guys know about a pretty scary experience that my wife and I went through last week with our little dog Simon. You can read it at length here. I’m very happy to report that Simon is now home with us, and that the second stent plus […]
As you’re probably aware, our wonderful sponsors are a big part of keeping this site running, and letting me continue to put out the comics for you. This month we’re being sponsored by the great folks over at DK Online, a nifty new free-to-play MMO with some neat features such as the ability to transform […]
