Cartoons, Books, and Space Archaeology. Let’s do the real things first. Season 2 of the Ctrl+Alt+Del Animated Series launches today with the first of twelve episodes. After this we’ll be aiming to release them on the first of each month. We’ve been working on Season 2 since last September, so we’ve got a bit of […]
Earth Hour was pretty easy. I just went out to see a movie. Everything in my house was off for two hours. On another note… 21 was pretty good. Saw the ending coming a mile away, but a fun movie anyway. Weird, because I heard from some people (Steph) that the book was boring.
Season 2 of the Ctrl+Alt+Del Animated Series begins on Monday March 31st. The first episode is weighing in at about 8 minutes, which is nearly twice the length of an average Season 1 episode. Normally if you purchase episodes individually, they’ll be $2.99, but we’ll be offering the first episode of the season for $0.99. […]
Plan to take a week off for this game.
So I’ve been playing some of the Battlefield: Bad Company beta test this morning. I wanted to get a few rounds in as attacker and defender to get a good feel for the game before I talked about it. It’s a beta, and while the game seemed pretty polished, I imagine a lot of balance […]
Okay, like twenty minutes go by and I’ve already gotten half a dozen emails from people who use those mechanical babies in their classes. What the hell man. I’m over here reminiscing about grocery products, and these people are getting their own robots. I wish I had been living in the future back when I […]
Am I correct that bags of flour are used for this parenting exercise in some schools, or is that just something I saw on television? It would make sense, they’re about the appropriate size and weight. In my school we used eggs. The teacher would initial the bottom, and then you had to carry it […]
Ideally today’s comic would have come before (or even after) Monday’s strip. I feel like I’m jumping around a bit this week, but until it was out I couldn’t be sure Rainbow Six Vegas 2 would do these tie-hooks the same way as RSV1. They do. It’s probably a bit of an inside joke, I’ve […]
This is where a newspost would be, if RSV2 had not happened today. So far, I will say, that if there wasn’t a big “2” on the box, I might have thought I was just playing RSV1. But the run button is almost worth the price tag alone.
I’ve been absolutely hooked on Condemned 2 Crime Scene multiplayer this past weekend. I sign on for a quick couple of matches, and then it’s “well, just one more” for the next couple of hours. It’s really fun, and it’s also a shame because I know a lot of people are going to pass right […]
Here are some videos from Digital Overload. Day One and Two again, and also Day Three. Day Three may be NSFW. Day One Day Two Day Three Toss Your Keyboard for a Zboard!
I picked up Condemned 2, and it looks very promising. I’ll be saving the single player portion for when I get together with Toby, as is tradition. Fortunately Condemned 2 comes with a multiplayer mode which, while not perfect, is quite a bit of fun. I’ve only really played the ‘Crime Scene’ mode, but honestly […]
For the second year in a row we ran a little event called “Toss Your Keyboard For A Zboard”, sponsored by Zboard. The goal of the game is to chuck your keyboard across the room and knock down a pin. If you do, you win a brand new Zboard. Lots of destruction ensues. At the […]
Well, Digital Overload 2008 has now come and gone. I’ve spent the last couple of days recuperating, and I’m finally starting to feel like myself again. There isn’t much to say that I haven’t said in a past post-DO daze, but the event this year was even bigger and smoother than ever, and I had […]
I’m heading over to the convention center for Digital Overload set up. If you’re joining us this weekend, have a safe trip and double check your packing list. If not, hopefully you can make it to the event next year. I also want to remind people that you cannot pay for a Gamer badge at […]
As you may imagine, things are pretty hectic over here right now as we get ready for Digital Overload this weekend, so I’ll make this fairly brief. Maybe. I haven’t mentioned this yet because I was wanted to make sure they were almost here when I did, but we finally got around to reprinting Ctrl+Alt+Del […]
